Much of the music was improvised, often played live as a single track without much, if any, preparation. “Prelude to a Day” was a fun little piece for film orchestra. Each track includes a tiny description.

The album covers a variety of genres, including lo-fi, piano solo, new age, choral experiments (“Profondo” & “Circling Around”), film/game orchestra (“Prelude to a Day”), cello with “Unplanned Randomness,” and some electronics & noise mixed. It was a challenging month, so most were done in quite short time without planning.
